Keep in mind 2800 is empty so it will be higher when loaded. General guideline is loaded pin wt will be 20-25% of the trailers GVWR. Best to take it to the scales to know for sure.

Yes the exhaust brake was one of my major considerations in upgrading. Had a 2008 Ram 2500 CTD a few years back and loved the exhaust brake. Really disappointed with the 2011 F350 in that regard....
