Slide out awnings

Does anyone know how to take out the slack in these awnings? I have one that has to much sag in it.

Having been there last year, you definitly want to move around. Be sure and stay at the Russian River campground if you are going to Homer. It's on the way. We liked Valdez the best!

Front Door

Has anyone taken their entrance door off the coach? The hinges look weird and I have not quite figured it out!! I need to make some repairs and I think laying it flat on a bench would make the job...

Don't buy a Reese bike rack!! We did and it did not survive our Alaska Trip. We had to have it welded in Fairbanks after almost losing the bikes!

I have a 12' Porta-Bote and mount it under the Monty. I made some brackets using threaded rod and angle brackets. We went to Alaska and back with no problems. If you want pictures, let me know.

We have a Mor-Ride and I has been a big help! I also have air bags in the back of the truck which also helped. At the fall rally you may get a deal if Mor-Ride is a guest speaker.

The Kenai area was the best with Seward..Second...

The Kenai area was the best with Seward..Second best was Valdez. We were on the inlet about 15 feet from the water for $8 a night. No services, but who cares!!

We also have a 2980RL and toured Alaska last summer. We had no problems with the roads as long as you slow down when on the dirt roads (depending where you go). Canada has government campgrounds...

Does anyone know where I can get 2 or 3 feet of the molding that goes between the front cap and the body? I don't want the long piece that the factory puts on. I need to make a few repairs.

Most of the campsites are pretty much the same. After backing in, the picnic tables are in the rear. I thought the driveways and loops were tight.
