Thanks much for the help. It did turn out to be accessible behind the panel in the basement as dyna_rider suggested. Probably an easier place to work with it and the water pump right next to it. ...

Can anyone tell me where the converter is on my 2955 - figured behind the breaker panels next to fridge, but nope. There is a blank panel with one of the detectors mounted on it under the stove...
