Travelingman said it right..remember they are BRUSH guards..not DEER guards..there is BIG difference. Note the wire mesh on the ranch hand unit..thats to keep the pointy things out..They are not...

When you hit a deer it will do one of two things..It will be sucked under the vehicle. If you have a BIG truck that is high enough off the ground that will most likely happen..Or..it will come up...
