That's with their 3.5 Ecoboost engine. Max torque is at 2500 RPMs and has 90% of that all the way up to 4500 RPMs. It has 360 HP and 410 TQ and that's with 89 octane. With high test it has even more...

One reason the DRW trucks have higher limits is because they are held to a lower standard. The Ford SD trucks don't conform to the J2807 standard.

For tow ratings you need to look at the SAE J2807 tow ratings. The DRW trucks are held to a lower standard than the SRW trucks.

The tires on my Ford are 275 65 20s. They have a rating of over 3700 pounds. 275 55 20s wouldn't work too good off road but these do and are more stable than the 18s.

If I was getting a truck to pull a big heavy Montana I would wont a DRW. A SRW will certainly do the job especially if you get the 20 inch wheels but I would still get the DRW truck.
