winterizing batteries

I have a 2022 monti 3231CK. what is the best way to winterize the batteries. last year I left the house power pluged in. I want to unplug the trailer this winter. should remove the batteries.

I had that problem. I realized the steps were to. I adjusted the legs to bring the step plate down to get the lower part of the door to clear the step plate.
