I still have the original two batteries but we are always on shore power. Almost 5 years and never an issue. Think it’s time to replace them? Why not just replace with like batteries?

I am hoping to mount the king antenna directly to roof to get rig of needing to raise and lower. Any knowledge regarding that install and complications resulting fron the arch of the roof?
