I have found that using plenty of flush water is the key to whatever paper you choose to use. We went a step further and added a bidet toilet seat so paper use is reduced considerably.

It does not matter which end of the battery negative you mount the shunt on. What does matter is that you do not have ANY other connections of loads and/or sources between the shunt and the battery...

Ours has been pretty good. Got it used and only had to replace a oil pressure sender so far. All it’s done is what it’s supposed to when it’s supposed.
