BTW we did not get the diesel because we like diesels. We did not get the diesel dually because it is cool. We got it because we needed it to stay within all the parameters of the TV and RV.

We had both on our 06 3400 and have both on our 13 3402. We are long timers and do a lot of miles for us they were well worth the cost. We also added the trailersaver BD-3 hitch in the truck.

The dealer did not lie although hitting the back of the truck cab in a tight turn would normally cause a lot more damage. Dropping' the RV on the truck would be the same as hitting a big pot hole.

Our Local Rv dealer checks them and everything else every two years. We have never in years of Rv ownership had a problem with the technical ability of RV techs at any dealership.
