You can also try turning off all the breakers inside and apply shore power. If all is good, try turning each one on until one trips. Might help narrow down the problem.

I use 3-in-1 RV Rubber care on a rag and wipe the seals. If you soak the rag liberally, then carefully pull back the wiper seal, you can run the rag down the seal getting both sides at the same time....

There should be a cap on the drain line underneath. It drains the water in the line between the 2 valves. With the cap on, it won't drain. It will be the same type of cap as your fresh tank drain.
