Phil, Just asked dw and she did call and yes they are for a dirt devil but they are the same so they said.She had a 10 pack ordered from cw but they have been back ordered since april.

Brad, On mine it was the plug on the round cage...

Brad, On mine it was the plug on the round cage that turns to move the heat. You are on target with the low tech.The cage looks like a paint roller with a plug on the end.

I had the same problem only after 3 months. I called the Dimplex folks and they had me a new one for me. I can't think of the ladies name but it is on here somewhere. My neighbor had the same problem...

I noticed that mine started doing this also. I thought it may be the temperature change. I took WD40 and sprayed around the gasket and flushed it 5 or 6 times and it started working again.
