Also, when trip prepping, I don't unhitch, but I run the passenger side slides...

I've had grease on the brakes most times I've had the wheel bearings repacked. It'll usually 'burn' off in the first 50 - 100 miles. Just be careful until you know the grease is gone.

Oh yes! I carry 2 25' water hoses, 20 20' sewer hoses and a 30' 50 amp extension cord. I use the extra hoses and the extension several times on longer trips and the sewer about 25% of the time.

I had similar incident, it was hit and run. New end cap - $8,000 more or less. 2018 305RL. Keystone may or may not have an end cap for your unit's model year.

The unusual wear may be due to an axial alignment problem. Usually, but not always, happens on the rear axial. Find a good RV shop and have the alignment checked.
