That did cross my mind, but highly unlikely being that it's in the middle of the camper directly over the the first axle and suspension. If it was on the front, then that would be more suspicious.

Well, just confirmed the weld is cracked. Hairline crack, if your looking at the picture it's at the bottom to the middle.

There are two routes you can go, if your not going to tow more. You can go with a company called Arrowcraft. They have been doing these conversions for over 25 years. It is a hub centric adapter....

I have an Anderson hitch and have towed roughly 2K with it. You should have zero chucking, coming from your hitch set up. It works just like a ball socket, there is not much room for back and forth....

New set up

Well I made my decision, the 4 wheeler ramp idea works well. I am going to weld a 6 inch spacer between the two ramps. Besides that everything worked out great.
