Yep they will hold the flaps down. I’ve seen more than my share of flaps and, anti sail bars taken out. Of course they were mostly commercial vehicles but, the same can happen to non commercial....

Those look good but be very careful backing up. If you catch the flap between the tire and a bump of some sort it’s gonna come off and, possibly damage the fender.
