Excellent CNET article on all aspects of towing.

I found this online article to be a very realistic and complete guide to towing all kinds of trailers. Covers all weight specs, types of hitches, hooking up, towing and more, with several videos.

May need to lower manual extensions further

Find someone with a truck and hitch that sits lower than yours, or put some kind of support in your truck bed that will allow your hitch to be lowered onto it. Then raise front jacks all the way,...

Point the trailer

Before starting to backup, and as you pull just past the site you want, "cock" the trailer, or point the trailer to the opening so it starts heading for the site the instant you start backing up. ...

Great so far.

I don't remember the brand that came on my 2015 Montana, but after several issues I replaced them with these Goodyear Endurance tires, highly recommended by Discount Tire, and they have been perfect...

Depends on weight and wheel specs

My 2015 292RK five'r is not that heavy, and I replaced originals with Goodyear Endurance LR E tires, and they are doing great running at 75-80 lbs. I haven't examined inside of my rims to see what...

That extra 1.5 inches might have been too much on my prior duallys ('05 F350 and '11 Chevy 3500. My current '17 Chevy 3500 SRW allows a bit more bed drop I think, and I have just about 6" clearance...

Check bed height difference too

I never used airbags, or felt the need to. Not sure what they might do to normal no towing bed height and loaded towing bed height. But any more height on my rig and the trailer would be riding too...

The red latch sets the deadbolt, and the latch above the black flat door opening handle locks that handle from moving. Same two operations as the two outside key locks.

I added a knob to help with closing door without reaching.

Not sure if this fits your issue or not, but we had a problem reaching out from inside to grab the screen door, by itself or connected to outside door. Too many times we grabbed the plastic slider...

I did take a simple approach with this and seems fine. The wire mesh of the rack needed something with a bigger head than normal screws so it wouldn't pull through the rack. The silver heads stand...

In my experience, the best procedure to disconnect and avoid this is:

1. Pull lever back and pin it in open position.
2. Raise trailer so there is about 1/2" open clearance between bottom of...
