Lift pump and water separater with an additional filter will help your CP3. Helps supply low pressure fuel to the pump. Check the duramax forum for great info.

one word for a duramax (liftpump) Feed the CP3 and filter. Take the work off of pulling the fuel from the tank to the pump. you can also read up at the duramax forum.
