Since we didn’t have a hitch and wanted to cushion the ride we went with a Goosebox. It’s really easy to hitch up. We are still experimenting with air pressure.

Bed Clearance with Goosebox

Just picked up 2023 3761FL. I have 8 1/2” of bed rail clearance but trailer is nose high. I’ have a Curt ball which is 5 1/8” tall. We can raise the Goosebox to the next hole which would lower it...

Yeah, that's why I bought a dually. I was using my example with a 3/4 ton where the numbers won't work for a 3761FL. I now have payload capacity of 5255 lbs.

We traded in a 2021 F250 with a payload capacity of 2797 since we have a 3761FL on order. The advertised hitch/pin weight is dry. Add the hitch, cargo, passengers, etc…, and you will be over 3000lbs...

We are also going from TT to 5th wheel. Upgraded truck from 3/4 ton to 1 ton dually. Probably going with B&W 25k puck.

However looking at Goosebox as a possibility which eliminates the hitch but...
