Your butyl tape is more for gasket to seal where your screws go into the side , you don’t want to use it for holding up the skis it’s not strong enough .

I believe my tpms high temp is set to 158 degrees. (thats default) I would just monitor and if you see one tire a lot higher than others like 30 - 40 degrees higher you may have a problem with that...
