We had a few areas bubbled up on our roof. We took it to a repair shop for repairs to a slider and they called saying we had a tear on our roof and they’d have to redo the whole roof for about $8500. We have insurance with a deductible. Don’t know if I should just use some roof tape and patch it or have the whole thing redone. Any thoughts?
PS, I had been on the roof a few days before and noticed the bubbling but didn’t see any tears to it. They sent pictures and it’s torn but also wondered if they might have stepped on it and that’s why it’s torn now.
