- Biography
- Steve worked 22 years in Waupaca, WI foundry as a superintendant. Judy was a practicing Registered nurse for 20 years, now on inactive list. Both owned and operated Springer Tours, a motorcoach tour business out of central WI... retired in December 2007 (after 18 years in the business) and sold our motorcoach (kept the business in case we get bored with retirement; hasn't happened so far). Also own and operate a small seasonal campground in central WI. We have four children, three are Steve's and Jake belongs to both of us. Jake graduated in December 2010 from UW Stevens Point, WI with a Bachelors Of Science Degree from the College of Natural Resources in Wildlife management and biology. His dream is to move to Alaska to work after graduation. We have been there more than 25 times, doing motorcoach tours... favorite home away from home. We have 8 grand-children. We love English Springer Spaniels and have a 12 year old named T-Bones, plus a young Brittany, adopted from a local shelter who had rescued him from death row in IN. We live on a small lake... our retirement paradise! We like to spend part of each winter in Port Aransas, TX to get out of WI winter chill and give Steve a chance to fish (every day).
