Hi I’m a hunter also. I have a gunsmith friend in north west Co that would let me hunt his honey hole. He said he every body that had set on it all day got an elk. That is pretty good odds.
I’m a varmint hunter, groundhog and prairie dog. I shot a groundhog a few years ago at 1010 yards. I friend in Green River Wy got one at 2157 yards. Yes that is way out there.
My rifle was a 6X46. It’s a short 243. Bat action Hart barrel and a Borden Rimrock stock. It’s the only Bat action with a Rimrock stock and I built it myself.
