Wow, so sorry i did not see your message until today! I wish there was a better alert to the fact that someone has sent you a message. You probably have already been to the resort, but spot # 59 was an easy back in site if you came around on the road where sites 48-59 are, and then curve around the corner, and then almost make a straight in shot backing up. Your rear end can hang out over the lake, so length should be no problem. we were 42' long, and I still had 4 feet of swampy grass behind our RV.

Hello! I saw a review you posted for Outdoor Resort (Surfside) in Virginia Beach. We have also reserved lot #59 for a trip in August. We stayed there a few years ago with a smaller rig, but the new resort managers are not exactly reassuring with our new 44' Triple Axle Cyclone. They say that the lot will fit a 45' unit, but I remember the roads being very narrow to turn.

A couple of questions, if you don't mind helping. Do you think we'll be ok to fit our 5'er in there? Also, did you drive straight in or go to the left and curve around to make it easier to back in? The turns look a little tight, but I think that's how I remember driving in before - it made backing in easier - though I remember poles on the end of driveways being entirely too close to the road. Luckily we had a very helpful long-haul driver renting the unit next door to help us navigate!

Thank you so much for any advice! My husband doesn't think we'll have issues, but I am always the nervous Nelly!

    Best,
    GR
