Just for fun, how about a thread just for pictures of our pets camping with us...
This first picture is of Luna, she is a rescue only 1.5 years old and likes to rest by the fireplace after a long day.
The second is of Stella, also a rescue, 2.5 years old... "Is that a squirrel?"

Well, I absolutely love to show off my "critters." We've had these two guys for less than a year. We truly miss the previous two who crossed the Rainbow Bridge after giving us 10 years of happy, wonderful camping experience. Although we have a gigantic hole in our hearts, and will forever, these two have been absolutely wonderful. They adapted to the camping lifestyle so well, they have learned how to get into "camping mode" as soon as they see the trailer hitched to the truck!
This is when they were about 3 months old. It didn't take them long to figure out what "camping mode" was:

They learned to travel quite well:

They got a little older, but by now, it was just too late to teach old dogs new tricks...

They do "occasionally" wake up.....

And let's not forget this guy who's been traveling with us for 11 years now. He has his favorite hide-out places too. Who would have thought that a cat can find so many places to hide in a camper!

This is Lizzy. She's the ruler of the roost. We've had her since she was 8 weeks old. Came from animal control in Florida.

Here's my team, Hektor (spaniel), Max (orange tabby), Huge (black demon cat), the turtles Al and Jan, and their fishy friends Batfish, Marlin, and Sharkbait. Some would say we're fools to have a fishtank, and I'm inclined to agree, but here we are, 10 states away from where we started and everyone's still doing great. Don't know why half my photos always upload sideways here.

We don't even have house fish, but I am curious how you travel with that?
Is there a cover that is spill proof?, and you do you keep the tank from falling over?
I think that it's cool that you can bring ALL the amenities of home!

CADman_KS it's a bit of work actually on moving day. We empty the tank most of the way and take it off the deck box and place it on the floor and put a tarp over the tank, and the turtles get to ride in the deck box. We've gotten pretty quick at the breakdown and set up though and can do it in about twenty minutes now.

Thanks for replying!
I think that it's awesome that you've committed to make home on wheels feel as much like your stick home!

Here's our sweet Gracie, she turned 9 this year. She has claimed a spot on the sofa where can see what's happening inside or can stand up and look out windows in at least 4 directions.
