Rhino Sewer Hose or New TFlex

I was about to order a 20 foot Rhino Sewer Hose and 20 foot stand for it to go on. I saw what first went on sale at Amazon on 6/28. It is a
"TFlex RV Draining Hose Support" that is made in Canada. It is supposed to set up in 30 seconds and be able to bend 180 degrees. Problem is it cost $100.00 !!! Is it worth that much for a sewer hose support?? Or just stick with the Rhino?

Also Rhino has a hose support system that uses what looks like 12 inch blocks to support the hose instead of the Caterpillar type support. Amazon Camco# 43071 Any reason you would want to get this or stick with the 20 foot Caterpillar support?
Sometimes new ideas aren't the best.

Looking at it, it is not clear the size when collapsed for travel. But looks like it would not be very compact. I am not one to buy a new product at that price until I see positive reviews after multiple people have used it for the long term. Interesting idea though.

But I know the Rihno is good.

Yeah it's just a sewer hose support and 100.00 is a lot. May just stick with Rhino

We just use the 25-30 buck CAMCO hose support. I can't envision a hundred dollars for that TFlex just to hold a sewer hose. Even that CAMCO support has gotten a bit expensive vs what I paid 10 years or so ago. Time to set up the CAMCO - it only takes maybe a minute plus folds into a package about 8x8x12 inches

I got tired of always having to walk the line out when using the Slunky/Slinky type supports and the drains can be a good ways from the rig, so I initially bought some 5" symmetrical vinyl gutters and used my Lynx levelers to make a chute for them when we were at places like the beach where the drain openings are up to 10" out of the ground. I store them in 5x5" vinyl posts I mounted under the camper. In one has the gutters and the other carries 40' of normal sewer hose. Last year I got bored while on vacation and decided to make a few supports myself for the duct instead of using the stacks of blocks. So, I made a few out of 1" pvc and threaded rods for the support. I didn't glue them together and they all come apart easily and store in a box in the basement.

We use the slinky always have so it take a min or two to pull it out we have plenty of time.

I like the rino hose. You can stretch it out or collapse it to the length you want. I also use the clear 45 deg connector on the rv and and 90 deg clear one on the sewer and. I also use the sidewinder (accordion) support.
And gloves of course :)
So far no "Robin William's, RV" moments. Lol.

I used Rhino for years then found Drain Master ~~ so much better than anything else.

While I really like your solution (used a lot of PVC pipe for various stuff), I'm not certain I'd have room for it. Our Camco slinky is getting old and has a broken hinge that I've used a zip tie on (and they certainly ARE getting expensive!). When that goes, I may have to try your fix.

I've been using this one https://www.campingworld.com/flexible-sewer-hose-support-630080.html for 13 years and it works fine 99% of the time. It is of little use when the sewer connection in the RV park is elevated too high. I've seen some that the top of the sewer connection was 10" off the ground.

I tried the Camco but it didn't last but a couple of uses. It started coming apart and was frustrating to use. I then bought Valterra 15-Foot Slunky RV Hose Support and it has been very good. It compacts nicely and has held up well. I use it with my 20' hose set up without any problems.

I also have the Waste Master/Drain Master hose. 5' stored to 25' expanded. easy to connect and collapse for storage. Strong and problem free.

I have a sidewinder but seldom use it. I usually just lay the hose on the ground, that way I can leave the grey valve open and the low area of the hose acts as a trap and keeps bugs out of the tanks. When I dump black I always give it a really good flush to rinse the hose out. When I first saw the Drain Master I knew I wanted one because of it's smooth inside and will get it once my Rhino wears out if it ever does. I've been waiting 5 years now and it's still like new.

Just checked online. Camco aluminum accordion style. 6 ft is $37 and 11 ft is $57.
I have a short one - it might be the 6 footer. Easy to use and strong.

I also have the plastic black things that are longer, but seem unstable and not so easy to use.

I just use enough gutters to get it over to the neighbors site. Find it is best to dump about 2:30 AM

We have the TFlex and absolutely love it! We have gone through so many different configurations of hoses and supports. The TFlex works great and we are very glad we have it. Highly recommend it.
