We just moved to Pahrump, NV from Tennessee. Couldn't stand the high humidity there any more and had to move back out West, plus it gets us closer to our kids and grandkids.

We are staying at Nevada Treasure RV Resort, Site #13-21, if you are in the area stop by and say hi! :hooray:

Had to look up Pahrump on google maps. Had never heard of it. But satellite view looks like a super nice RV park. Long long ways from here though.

We did the free tour of the Chicken Ranch when we visited in April. Our kids thought we were nuts touring a brothel, but it was fun and they give you a free menu book.

You've gone from humid to HOT. (98 degrees at 8:24 in the evening) We have property in Pahrump and were there this past July during our tour of the west. The town has grown significantly since our purchase in 1980. Still kinda in the middle of nowhere though.

We are originally from TN. (Johnson City), and currently live in AR. Have property in Pahrump, and are considering moving there. How's the RV park you are staying in??

Hi Dave & Terry
We feel this is the nicest RV Resort/Park in the area. Some of the others are a little cheaper put they are converted asphalt parking lots at Casinos or they are overrun with ants. PM me if you have any other questions. We lived in Mount Juliet, TN for 5 years before moving here.
