I'm having the G614's mounted on our Monty this week. I'm having them inflated to 100 lbs.

What is a good brand of air gage for this pressure,

Also, tell me again why I should have steel air valves installed on the rims.

Thanks again for your help.

Many good brands are available at a decent price. I normally use a Haltec dual foot gauge because I can use it to check the tire pressure in my dually. To inflate them I use the Haltec inflator gauge.

Not sure of the brand, but I got the one I use at a Flying J. The reason for metal stems is that if you have sensors on your valve stems the weight of the sensor will stress the rubber stems over time.

Actually, the reason for going to the metal stems is because the standard stems are only usually rated to 80 psi. Having the metal stems with the TPMS sensors is an added bonus.

Most any digital tire gauge will do. I use the one below, it's accurate and easy to hold/use.

Be sure to also purchase a tire pressure monitoring system as well, if you don't already have one. The most popular on the forum here is the TST 507. A TPMS can alert you of a leak before it becomes a problem and will immediately alert you of a blowout (not always obvious, believe me I know!)
