Battlefield RV

Pulled in yesterday. Several montanas here, couple in longterm and i am in shorterm even though we will be here two months. I am in site 70.

If that's Gettysburg, nice area. We were just there in Aug. Lots of history.
Travel tip to anyone heading that direction...AVOID Rt 30 between Breezewood and Chambersburg !

We were there two years ago when the new owners were just begining to clean it up. How did the rebuild go? Our daughter lives in Ringgold so we get there every so often, but last year we were working for Fish and Wildlife in Geogia so we had a free spot elsewhere.

Cleanup went well, but now it is in a divorce auction. We sold our house last week and needed a place since i work in ringgold and have only 7 more weeks until retirement.
Works for us, at this time. Pipeline people have most of the park reserved.

We were at Battlefield RV Park back in March of 2017. It's a nice little park that used to be a KOA. The upgrades are still coming along, and the area we stayed at (lot 84) was newly renovated. It was quiet and clean, and the lot was quite large. In fact, I just noticed my sig picture is from that trip!
