I never have been a snowbird and need to rely on the experience of those who have come before me. We are looking at seasonal work at WDW for next winter and I'm wondering what the most efficient housing opportunities might be with the Monty in the Orlando/Kissimmee area. Suggestions?

There are several Disney seasonal workers who live here in Deer Creek Golf and RV resort. It is best to rent from an owner in the park, rather than thru the resort. Last year, we rented a lot for $575/month + utilities. The utilities ran about another $140.

There are plenty of RV campgrounds in the Disneyworld area. Both Helen and I have worked at Disney and we along with the Young's and others are at Deercreek Rv and Golf resort prior to that we were at Mouse Mountain Rv resort both within 1/2 hour or so from the park.

We would be glad to help out if you decide to do that.
