Heading down to Premier RV Resort in Lincoln City over the Labor Day holiday. It is supposed to be a nice campground and my wife got an ocean view for us. I hope the weather cooperates and that the traffic is decent going through Portland. :D
Anyone in the area is invited to stop and say hi.

Larry I remember going by the original $50,000.00 silver dollar bar as a kid in my dad's 18 wheeler. I think that was in the early seventies. Lookout Pass was only a freeway on the Idaho side. And then only for a short distance. Between Missoula and the pass the road followed the river. Now it is quite strait and you get to cross a lot of bridges. The 50k bar was located a little bit to the east of its present location on the old two lane road. They had to move it to keep in business when I 90 was put in. Man I wanted to stop there as a kid. Many years later I finally got to stop and check it out. Maybe next trip down to Oregon you guys will be in town. Enjoy your trip and be careful.

We've stayed there a couple of times. It can be a little tight, but it's a nice rv park. We really enjoyed it.

Dave & Celeste which part were you in, the upper or lower? My old Ford with the front leaf springs does not turn real tight. I thought my said we were in the upper area overlooking the Pacific. We are looking forward to a break from work.

Where is your signature picture taken? Looks like a palm tree behind your 3150.

We were also in the upper, With the ocean view also. We had ask somebody to move a vehicle once in order to back in. Our signature pic was in Newport Beach, CA. That was our maiden shakedown trip. :)

Dave & Celeste thanks for the heads up on the limited maneuvering ability at Premier RV Resort. We will at least be pulling into the place in the daylight. We also stayed in Newport RV park along the Pacific and if I remember correctly there was a big lagoon. One of the three trips down the west coast from Easter Washington to visit Disneyland when the kids were young. We were there for a couple of nights and then moved over to Orange-land RV Park in city of Orange as it is located on the same street as Disneyland.
Thanks again.
