View Full Version : spare tire not even used yet.

on our trip back from south dakota i did my walk around and looded everything over and checked underneath and looked at the spare tire. there it was a bulge on the bottom side. left saturday afternoon and got home sunday at noon thank God no issues he wad watching over us. anyway i called my dealer today and they said bring it in and we will see what can be done. yes it is a goodyear marathon and no it hasent even been on the ground yet. so theres an new one for ya.

Now that's just getting ridiculous. No wonder we won't even leave the dealer lot with them on anymore!!!

Hmmmm. I need to check my spare again. It is also a Marabomb that has never touched the road.

When was the last time any of you checked and adjusted your air pressure in the spare???

My spare is a Marathon, guess I'll go check it.

Actually I have two Marathon spares one with about 300 miles on it and one with about 1500. Both seem OK. Guess I'll keep my fingers crossed that I never have to use either one.

Heck, my brand-new, unused spare was killed by my own trailer before it even had a chance to fail on it's own.
