This is our 2nd Monte. It is a 15, 3900FB Big Sky. I must say that our problems have been few and not serious. We had our first unit 5 yrs and this one a little over 1 yr. yet, we probably have as many or more miles on this one as we had on the first. We surely have spent more time in this one. We are very satisfied and look forward to many more great days with her. We are spending most of the summer in it here at Lake Waccamaw. We will start west as we attend the Mid Atlantic and go on to Montana to Glacier National, then to Yellowstone and other places. We will attend the Rocky Mtn rally. We are excited about our westward journey and open to suggestions.

About the only scenery that compares to traveling most of our western states is Alaska. Hope you have great weather and safe travels! On our last trip out west I wish we would have spent a little more time in Jackson Hole (or Jackson) and the Tetons. Maybe next year.

Looking forward to seeing you at the rally, or before.

Depending on your destination Yellowstone would probably be first and than go NW on up to Glacier if you are going west. Either way you will see great scenery.

Spend the summer and fall in the northwest, then winter in southwest, the repeat again. The hope is that the fire danger will drop really low and things return to normal for the area. Far too beautiful for what they are getting this year. The san juans islands are a nice visit even if you day trip it using the excellent ferry system there. The whole oregon coast is a summer well spent. I could spend days sitting in the giant dunes at night enjoying the quiet wind, the view of other dunes out towards the ocean. Soak up some history in manzanita where one person was hot on the trail of lost treasure. We enjoy the great farm stands around tillamook county, cheese/ice cream at the tillamook creamery, fresh seafood galore. There is remnants of a B25 aircraft in the forest that didn't clear the high cliff face when returning from a mission to take out japanese balloon fire bombs near tillamook. One engine is at the base of the cliff in the water. And if you are a pinot fan, the willamite valley is king. The pacific northwest is next summers goal, a return that we are very much looking forward to. John
