Tonight (10/17) we're at the Elkhart County Fairgrounds in Goshen, IN. Tomorrow morning we have an appt in Elkhart, then will start west. We'll overnight the first night near Champaign, IL, (forgot the park name) and the next night at Mark Twain Cave and Campground at Hannibal, MO. This assumes those are open this time of year.

Wednesday we'll alight at Campus RV Park, site 11, in Independence, MO, and will stay there until after Christmas.

If our appt goes long, we may delay all the above by one day.

Tonight another Montana pulled into this park. We thought we'd let them get set up then walk down and say hello. But I guess they went out to dinner, so we missed them. It's too late (and cold) to run down there yet tonight. So if that was anyone from MOC, please accept our apologies for not getting down to see you.

Steve and Vickie, If you are coming across IL on Interstate 70, and have time to stop in Vandalia, IL Exit 61 has a Walmart with a big parking lot and they are very RV friendly. We live near there and would love to see yall again. Paul and Carol

Thanks Paul and Carol for the tip. The route I've planned out avoids interstates for most of the trip but we will have interstates through most of Illinois. I would have to look to find the I number but we'd go through Champaign (sp?) and Springfield over to Hannibal, MO. The rv park I've tentatively focused on is near Champaign, then one in Hannibal the next night.

It would be nice to visit with you two again. We didn't have a lot of time to chat with you at the rally but enjoyed the short ones we had. We probably won't make it this time but will try to remember you're in Vandalia. We do use I-70 sometimes. Any time we're heading through this area, please remind me you're there!

Thanks for the offer. One of these days we'll take you up on it. Right now we're anxious to get back to see the kids and grandkids.

Paul and Carol, after posting that we talked about changing our route for the second day a bit to drop in and say hello to you. But by morning we had 'get there to see the grandkids-itis' and decided to double up on our normal 200 mile day and get to the Kansas City area as quickly as possible. So we got here this afternoon. We'll catch you another time. Don't let me forget where you are should you see we're headed that way. Likewise, if you're headed our way, holler and maybe we can get together.
