Has anyone installed one of these hitches?

It got my attention because is is a two part hitch that allows the part that is in the truck bed to be removed easily and leaves a flat truck bed with no hitch rails to contend with. (The rails are under the truck bed bolted to the truck frame)

See the hitch here: http://tandrtrailer.com/hitches/index.php

jerry525 - We do not have one of these B&W hitches. Hubby had a Draw-Tite Signature Series hitch installed in our truck bed. There are no rails in the truck bed, they are all under the bed. We also, did not want to contend with rails in the truck bed.

I have the B & W hitch and love it! Purchased and had it installed at "See-Mor" Custom Truck in Ruckersville Virginia. They did a great job and it looks fantastic. The entire hitch can be removed when you need the entire truck bed. I especially like the gimbal mount for towing over uneven ground. It is very quiet due to the use of rubber on some of the moving parts plus there is a small shock absorber for dampening. I use one of the teflon disks on my hitch pin. One of the best features is the large heavy duty jaws that secure the pin and the positive way the hitch is locked! Very easy to hookup too.

Jerry,

I have a Draw-Tite slider hitch and it stays in the garage most of the time so I have full use of my truck. When I am ready I lift it into the truck and slip in 4 pins and I am ready to go. I am sure Reese is the same. No need to leave the hitch in the truck.
