Leaving here tomorrow morning, 08/01/04, for points north & east. Ultimately to Prince Edward Island. We don't use many interstates so we'll be a while getting there. We're in a burgundy Dodge 2500 with a 2955RL pushing it.[8D]

We are kind of stuck here in the northwest for the next few years until we have more time off for travel, so we enjoy hearing of other destinations and taking notes for the future. We note you are from Highland, Indiana. Hubby is from that area and we lived there and in Dyer during the early years of our marriage. Have a great trip.

Bob, Enjoy your trip. We were up there a couple weeks back and had a wonderful time. One thing we forgot was to fill-up prior to crossing into Canada. Even with the exchange rate roughly $.75 to the US $ you notice the difference with the average price per litre of $.91. Its a bit of a shock to pull away from the pump having paid over $100 Can for Gas.. 3.7854118 litre = 1 US gallon

If you plan to go to Nova Scotia, you might want to go there first and then over to PEI. Getting on to PEI is free, but you must pay to come back. The ferry goes over from the east side is 3 times as much as the Confederation Bridge on the west side. If your are just doing PEI, then the bridge is the way to go.
