Does anyone know what kind of treats you can give to a dog that has bladder problems? She is on a prescription dog food.

Basically, none.
My vet told me years ago, with my 4 yorkies ALL had bladder issues, NO treats.
So, they don't get any.
If the food comes in dry and in cans, you can use the dry as a treat.
Good luck.

ASK the VET about carrots or green beans. When our Britt was bad sick they told us if he's still hungry feed him green beans.

thanks everyone.....i was told that sweet potatoes or yams are ok for dogs with bladder issues. I found both of these at Petsmart and our little Zoe loves them :)

We feed our dogs sweet potatos and yams, however they don't have bladder problems. I would just double-check with the veterinarian. Once you do have a good food for them it does work well to use the alternate form for treats - kibble for wet or wet if kibble.
Also if she is a spayed female, is she on hormone therapy? One of our girls is "leaking" and they put her on hormone therapy to help the bladder control.
