John Thanks. We hope to be back on the East coast somewhere between 31 Jul and 15 Aug. At least by the Mid A Rally.

Hope you have a wonderful trip! If you wander back down I-70 stop by and see us. We're volunteering at the Council Grove Reservoir down 177 from I-70. It's a COE park so the senior pass makes camping cheap and they've got some sites where you can stick the Monty's back end right out on the point and have lake views out the back and both sides.

While you are in Robertsdale, you might want to go down the road to Foley and try Lambert's for some throwed rolls among other delicacies.

OR you can stop at camping world and spend some of that ARMY GREEN. Safe travels,

Or if you don't head back on I-70 and go across Kansas where DQ Dick is at, you can always come down I-80 and join us for the Central Plains Regional Rally here in Nebraska from July 18th-23rd. :D I see you don't have Nebraska on your states map so what a better way to get it on your map and enjoy some good Nebraska and Central Plains hospitality! ;)

Have a wonderful trip and enjoy the family. Wish you safe travels.

Keep us aware of your progress. As you get closer to the west coast there may be opportunities to meet some of the MOC folks in the west. Many of us live close to Vacaville and look forward to meeting you.

Have a GREAT time, you two. Gonna miss you at the Northeast Rally but there will be others. Drive carefully.

Have a great time! I was going to say also that it looks like you're going to get quite a few new states to fill in on that map. Sounds like a great trip ahead of you.

Unfortunately we did not get to Lamberts. Sounds like it would have been fun. It will be on our list for when we return to the area with a little more down time. In Robertsdale we stayed at Azelea Acres Campground. No frills adult park but nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

It will be nice to see more states on the map.

We visited the WWII museum in downtown New Orleans on Magazine Street. Show them your ID. A great visit.

We had to make some adjustments to our schedule. Our orignal plan would have taken us fro I-40 through AZ to route I 10. With the changes we will remain in the northern part of AZ.

Safe travels and have a great time.

We are at Nellis AFB in Las Vegas. We will be here until 21 May. This is a very nice campground. We plan to do the Sky Walk and donate a little to the economy. When we left Williams, AZ the temperature was 79 degrees. Here it is currently 104. Tomorrow 101 and we will get a cool down Friday to 90 degrees. What a change in temps from where we left to here.
