We will be at Gettysburg Battlefield Resort from 13 thru 19 Sept. Anyone else?

Your Reb buddy Lee was there 148 years ago. He did not have a good stay and got run out of town, with Custer on his tail . Hope your visit goes better, just keep a low profile and try to talk "Yankee", and wear your shoes!

Hey HOOK, just know the NE Rally 2012 is being held in the Gettysburg area. See the post from John and Judy Michaels in the NE region rallies. It's a short trip from Fayetteville!

Hey HOOK is there any issues with water and sewer due to the heavy rains. We heard Hershey had its treatment plant under water. We would like to stop and see Gettysburg about the time you have noted on our way back from Maine, but worry that things might be a water-logged or worse.

Plan to be there for that also, Am a Civil War buff and would just like to spend a week at GB. My Great Grandfather lost his leg there.

The Paynes (rvdreams.com) are in Hershey. They have updated the weather conditions. Enjoy.

Spoke with park and they said no problems. Also spoke with John Kohl who lives 15 miles south of GB and he doesn't seem to think that we'll have any issues. Hope to see you there. Larry

Larry- Sent you email, but we'll join you at Battlefield CG/Resort 9/18. Wanna travel to Goshen (now that you're joining the Rally) together? Plan to stay at Blue Heron Rest Stop on OH Tpke overnight, before heading into Goshen. Your call.
