Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone can shed some light on what the code is that allows the directv remote to operate the on/off, sound, and mute for the tv ?
The model is Vizio V0370M.
It was working for about two months after the Directv installer put in the new HD box, but dropped out a couple of days ago.
I have tried the on line codes Directv suggests, the on TV setup codes (same), as well as the code search option (40 minutes of cycling through the codes). I've tried rebooting the HD box and the TV all to no avail.
Calls to Directv were no help, they couldn't recommend any thing other than what I had tried. I think it's near impossible to try and locate the actual installer, I don't have a name or good local company phone number, the service was arranged through Directv and they couldn't/didn't come up with a phone number.
It's not a big deal, but i've come to appreciate having to only deal with one remote as opposed to two....
any suggestions appreciated....
