We gave up camping about 3 years ago and have missed it terribly. We are looking at a 2004 Montana 3400RL that we saw in a local camping show. We currently have a 2003 F-150 and know it will not come close. This will be our first 5th wheel and need to buy the horse before the cart. We want the best truck to handle the Montana. We don't know if we would go bigger then the Montana in the future. We want to take longer trips and hopefully retire some day soon and be a full timer in the Montana. I have read lots of the forums and see different make, models and sizes for tow vehicles. I refer Ford but will take all suggestions. Looking for something like, F250 or F350, gas or diesel, short or long bed, 2 or 4 wheel drive, size of engine, ratio of rear end, etc. As you can tell, this is my first forum help request. Thanks for any help as I continue to read the forums.
