It is cold and raining, the RV electronic news letter came and I read an article about California requiring an endorsement on their Class C, "regular" drivers license for any trailer over 10001 pounds. According to the article there is a 20 question test and the cost is free. Few, even the Vehicle personnel, know about it.
I went onto Maryland's regulations and found this bit of info. Class C, again regular license, no commercial, Motor vehicles under 26,001 pounds (GVW). You may tow any trailer provided the two do not exceed the 26,001 pounds (GVW).
Those moving up to the heavier rigs may have to get commercial licenses. Glad I am legal for Maryland that CDL is a bear.
