It has taken us two months to get to Florida since leaving Minnesota and what a welcome. We are at Fort Cinch State Park in Fernandina Beach where our good friends Bob and Jan Gay live when they are not traveling in their Montana. We first met Bob and Jan when we were in Alaska after just missing them in Oregon last spring. Several thousands of miles later we meet again. We also ran into them im Wisconsin and caravaned with them to the Montana rally in Goshen this fall. :D

What a wonderful city they live in. It has the cutest downtown I have seen in Florida. Yesterday we had lunch with them overlooking the Inter Costal Waterway and then last night they threw a dinner party for us with friends and relatives. What a fun night. They made a Low Country Shrimp Boil. It was wonderful.[:p]

Just when you think things couldn't get any better, it does.[^]:D

Glad to see you made it to Florida finally! Sounds like you are already having a good time. The Low Country Shrimp Boil sounds kinda fasinating! Is this something we could do at a future rally? Is there a recipe you could share? Anyway, hope you have a great time in Florida and enjoy the weather!!!

Helen,
Sounds like a great way to start your stay in FL. Send my hello's to Bob and Jan for me as well... Today's high temp was 14 degrees in Spokane, might you want to trade??

Dave, it's 69 degrees here.[8D] Come on down. (Don't ask me what it's like in August, though.[V])
Coachpotatoes, there are many different recipes for low country boil. Seems like everyone's is a little bit different. Do a search on the net and pick one that sounds good. It's really a pretty simple dish.
It's been fun having Bill and Helen here. Tonight we're going down to Mayport for some fried shrimp.

Bob,
If I could figure out how to get out of all this snow, I would be on my way. Got another 5 inches last night. Just saw on the tv they are calling for another 4-6" tonight. The temp is 18 degrees at the moment... brrrrrrrr!!!

When you see Helen tonight, give her an ice cube and tell her to put it in her hands and hold it there for awhile. Once her hands become frozen, remind her thats how mine have been for 3 days now! =) [}:)]

And don't worry Dave. Bob and Jan and Bill and I will be at the Tampa show to make sure the Big Sky is to your liking.

I can think it Dave, but I sure can't buy it and not even sure I would want it. We really do love our Tana. :)
