What's under the carpet?

Has anyone pulled up the carpet in your RV? We have a 37' 2011 Montana (I think it's RL3400), and the carpet is starting to look a little worn. Has anyone taken up your carpet, and was the kitchen flooring all throughout the unit? It looks like we may have the flooring everywhere except the slides. I think maybe even the bedroom might have it, as it's the same pattern by the shower and toilet. Hoping someone has already taken their carpet out and can answer my question.

Many of us have taken the carpet up and replaced it with a wide variety of products. On our 2010 the kitchen roll goods covered about 1/2 of the area under the carpet on the lower section and about a foot into the bedroom. Others have found differing coverage.

What’s under the carpet

The linoleum is in the hallway, but doesn’t cover the bedroom or any slides. We are replacing our carpet in the bedroom with linoleum. We have a 2014 Montana. Does anyone know what color was used on the existing linoleum? Our wood is cherry. Thanks.

The carpet in my 2011 3455sa was under the landing outside the bathroom and extended into the bedroom about a foot or so. I cut it off and rolled it under itself and stapled it to the floor at the bedroom door. so now I can enter the camper and use the bathroom without stepping on any carpet.

I also found out the kitchen flooring went towards the rear of the unit about a foot past the end of the kitchen island. What I did there is remove the carpet back to the end of the island and fold it under itself and staple it to the floor. Now there is kitchen flooring between the island and dinette.

There is no carpet in most of the bedroom and no carpet in the rear living area.

Of coarse there were hundreds of staples to remove which left pin holes in the flooring that are not noticeable. There were a few screws visible down through the floor, I just put some silicon in them to seal them up. There was also a few lumps under it and a few small cuts in the flooring that are barely noticeable.
