Main and Bedroom A/C Unit Question

I'm out for a week using our 18 3120RL. We are using both A/C units (on 50a power). When we set the temperature, is it normal for the unit to turn one, shutdown for about 5 sec, then power back on? After a while, the unit stays on and continues to work. It may be that it is close to desired temperature already, and the bursting is just enough to keep it within the set temperature, but I'm just not sure. I have lowered it more, and after this odd behavior, it finally just stays on. Anyone else experiencing this?

Ours does the same thing and have talked to several others with same issue. The fan also stops and restarts when changing speeds. From what I can find out this is normal and there is no problem with the ac unit.

I live in high Heat and humidity so I leave the living room fan on High for the AC and the bedroom on Auto for the AC. I have read a lot of people leave their fans on High for the AC.

With the temps at 80 in the morning at 100 percent humidity and the afternoon's temp reaching 95 degrees with still 100 percent humidity the compressor doesn't shuttoff very much. I much rather listen to the fan on all the time than for it to start stop start all the time.
