Roof Material

I just happened to look up and notice what appeared to be a tear or hole in the roof material on my 2017 Montana.....
When I climbed up, I noticed 3 tears on the edge of the roof, just above the trim strip... I'm guessing a brush with a tree branch could be the cause....
What is the best way to repair?? Best product to use??
For now I have sealed the tears with clear silicone...
The roof material seems paper thin and there is dead space at the roof radius edge...

Silicone is not recommended for a rubber roof, they make repair kits available at most RV dealers to repair the roof. Consists of bonding tape, cleaner etc... also get yourself some self leveling caulk while you are at it for the edges of the repair...

Eternabond tape is what I would use.

Eternabond tape or Diseal Patch is what you want to use. Silicone should not be used on a rubber roof.

I only used silicone because I was on my way to a wedding & noticed the tear..
Silicone was what was immediately available...
And the reason for my question......
