30k btu a/c ???

New to Montana. We just purchased our first Montana and the sales rep states it has a 30k cooling system which I have never heard of. Unit is a 3121RL. Is this two separate 15k units? The reason is we often will stay at state parks with limited hookups and would like to know what size generator is needed. We were going to buy two Honda 2k units and parallel them or a 3500. Not sure if either is large enough. Thanks in advance for any information!

Pretty sure you have two 15K units, and with the two Honda's paired together, you can run one at a time. In order to run both with a generator, you will need a much larger generator.

Thank you, I just could not see a unit with a 30k. It is frustrating when the sales staff could not answer 50% of the questions you asked about construction and specs.

You never know what the salesperson might have been doing for a living just last week. Tending bar maybe?!

When we bought our last Montana with first time for us cable slide for the bedroom, asked about emergency manual operation. Got a blank stare and was told they never heard of a failure with that slide operation.

Two 15K units. My 2 Honda 2000s will only run one.

It actually does have a 30K "cooling system" ... two 15K units. No matter as you'll need a rather large genset to run them both at the same time if you intend to do so.
