Went to a RV show and purchased a 5 meter set to LED lights with remote control Installed them under the edge of the counter top in the kitchen island. Really look neat. When I hooked up the Dish satellite the remote for Dish volume control turns the LED light strip off and on Led light remote will not control volume of tv Does not do this with the cabinet door where the satellite receiver is located is closed

Not a big deal just thought it was interesting.

Not all leds are designed well enough to not cause radiated frequency interference (rfi) with other devices and a lot of devices share the same frequency bands, so there is always the possibility of interaction. You have found such a case.

I installed under cabinet LED lighting in our Kitchen, when we turn on the soundbar for the tv, it changes the color of the LED's. Luckily when we use the LED remote to change back to white, it does not interfere with the soundbar, gremlins are to blame

It is probably because they use infrared light, not radio frequencies in the transmitters/receivers. Common problem.

I hate it when I get gremlins in my Monte! Those little buggers have a tendency to pop up every so often at unforeseen times!
