Samsung home entertainment

I've gone through two Samsung HT-C550 home entertainment center. One it refused to eject a CD and Samsung replaced it under warranty then the new one did something to create an error code and stopped doing anything, that was a couple years ago and was out of warranty so have been just using a little CD player with no surround sound or radio. The DW want the entertainment center operational but don't really want a samsung. Any ideas of a replacement for the samsung that is more RV durable?

Replacing Samsung with Sony bluray. Leaving speakers in place using these connectors.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, that may be the way I proceed. Can't go any higher than about 2" so it fits in the original location. I guess other s still have their original home theater receiver .

If your system is like mine, the surround sound speakers have to be calibrated using the microphone that plugs into the stereo. I had to move the mic closer to the tv so the back speakers would be louder instead of putting it in the center of the room. Followed the directions in the manual but had to tweek them to get more sound out of the back speakers.
