Big Sky 3850FL

G'Day everyone

Gary & Sheree Scott here from New South Wales in Australia...we are selling up our home at the moment to head off full time around Australia for the next 20 years or so we hope...

We intend to buy as soon as the house is sold a Keystone Montana Big Sky 3850FL and import it to Australia and have the compliance work done here and make it our home:-)

So thought it would be a great idea to introduce ourselves before we go exploring the site and asking a few questions some of you may know the answers too...very excited to be part of this forum.:-)

Welcome to the forum. You are at the right place to get all your questions answered. I haven't been a member for too long but I can assure you that this place is an education for Montana owners. Would be very interested in your story on getting a Monty down under and what all is involved. Good luck and keep us posted.

Thanks Neil - it is a very ridiculous lot of stuff we have to do down-under once the rig arrives - like moving the axles, beefing up the suspension - adding air brakes - changing electrical from 110 to 240V - changing all the gas to copper and the list goes on:-) but think it will be worth it...we just love the 3850FL...

Thanks for replying and we hope to learn a lot on here and looks as if we will if your recommendation is correct...

Gary & Sheree

Welcome Gary & Sheree!

We have the front living room floor plan too and really like it. Sounds like quite a project to get the new trailer down there and then modified. Hope it goes as smoothly as it possibly can!
