Home Again

We returned yesterday afternoon from almost a month long trip to Europe. We did a 12 day 7 country tour of Europe with Trafalger Tours which was excellent but very fast pace. The main purpose of our trip was our Daughter's Graduation from the University of Wales in Carmarthen, Wales. While in the UK we travelled all over with two highlights beening a trip to Alnwick where my Grandmother was raised in the late 1800's and some of Harry Potter was filmed at the castle. If you took away the cars and put 1800's stuff in the store it would be like travelling back in time. We also visited St. Andrews and seen the Golf Coarse which was just built as the land laid with the use of machines and it is beautifull. We are glad to be home and I now can keep up with the MOC.

Wow that sounds like a great trip. Nice you got to see so many things and am sure your Daughter was happy to have you at her Graduation. Welcome home.

What a fantastic trip Don and Mary Ann. And congratulations to your daughter! I have not made it to Europe, and really hope to some day. My grandmother was born and raised in Scotland so I really want to see that as well as Ireland and England. Glad you had a great trip.
