What Icehouse has been up to!

Thank y'all for the kind welcome back! We have missed the Montana Forum. Several of you have asked for updates and I thought I'd share it forum wide!

We had the B&B for 2 years and ended up hating it. With both Bernie and I working full time jobs that required us to both be on call 24/7 and then playing B&B host, it became too much. We met some great folks and had a lot of fun, but it was a fulltime job in and of itself. We decided to close the B&B last September and I quit my job. I took a 6 month break and just regrouped. Bernie is still at his same job and loving it. I started my own business early this year and that's going well.

We are hoping that with less on our plate we can use our Montana more (no, we never sold it) and spend more time on the forum. We've missed all of you and really appreciate the kind words of welcome back!

So, who's coming to Alaska this summer?

Tammy

Tammy and Bernie,
Thanks for the update. Sorry to hear the B&B did not work out but I know they are a LOT of work. Best of luck in your new endeavors.

There are several folks that are on their way or are already in Canada/Alaska. Hopefully some of them will check in here and maybe even in person. Again thanks for update and best of luck. Dennis and Mary Kay

You know, we tried to check into the forum on occassion, but we hardly had time to sit down. So, yes! We had withdrawals! But getting our fix now!

I hope folks check in too. I'd love to meet more folks. We have a few people in town now who own Montana's - now that you can't get them in AK. Go figure!

Good to be back!
